Live-In Cleaner

This position would require you to live on-site and work four weekdays each week, every second weekend and on-call some evenings. This includes an apartment suite (taxable benefit). • Employer paid benefits • Quarterly bonuses based on property performance • Annual bonuses based on personal performance • Extensive and ongoing training programs and a work-smart environment • Gym membership discount • Awards for years of service • Opportunity for career development • Inclusive and diverse work environment • Annual holiday parties & summer BBQ’s Key Responsibilities of Building Cleaner • General cleaning of the common areas of the building (Lobbies, elevator, stairwells, windows) and amenity areas (laundry rooms, social rooms) including sweeping, vacuuming & mopping • Thorough cleaning of vacant suites including cleaning appliances, walls, windows, kitchen, washrooms, balconies • Exterior cleaning duties including general maintenance of underground garage and parking levels, service rooms, foyers, patios and rooftops (Varies by property) and picking up loose garbage/debris around the property • Report any serious deficiency about curb appeal or safety or hazard to Resident Manager • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends • Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements • 1-2 years related experience • Customer service skills • A pleasant demeanour • Must be able to lift and push heavy objects (furniture, garbage bins, appliances, etc) • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Ability to perform in a team environment We thank all those who apply, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted. The cleaner is responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning of common building areas, including lobbies, stairwells, and amenity rooms. They are also tasked with preparing vacant suites for new tenants and performing exterior cleaning duties.

Candidates must have 1-2 years of related experience and possess strong customer service and communication skills. The role requires the physical ability to lift and push heavy objects and the flexibility to work weekends and on-call shifts.
