Banking Operations Agent As a key member of the team, you will contribute to daily account reconciliations, advisor commission processing, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the FIN/OPS and Operations teams while participating in process improvement and automation initiatives. Responsibilities: Trust Accounts • Perform daily bank and trust account reconciliations. • Prepare bank deposits and transfers between trust and corporate accounts. • Monitor and resolve outstanding items. • Participate in internal and external audits. Commissions • Process advisor commissions, payments, and adjustments. • Import and reconcile commission files. • Respond to advisor inquiries regarding commissions. • Assist with the preparation of T4A tax slips. Collaboration and Continuous Improvement • Collaborate with various internal teams and business partners. • Participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives. • Contribute to knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team. What you need to succeed: • College Diploma in Accounting or Finance, completed or in progress (an asset). • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Good understanding of trust accounts, as well as the financial and banking sectors. • Knowledge of AI and a willingness to explore and implement new technologies. • Bilingualism to respond to advisors' inquiries and collaborate effectively with internal teams and partners.
