Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the integrity of financial reporting and contribute to ongoing process improvements within the finance function. This role is responsible for overseeing key accounting activities, supporting financial planning and analysis, and providing insights that help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules Analyze results and investigate variances Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning Coordinate audit requirements and prepare supporting documentation Strengthen internal controls and identify process improvement opportunities Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and support special projects Your strengths include: CPA designation or progress toward completion considered an asset 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and close processes Experience preparing financial statements and supporting external audits Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience improving processes, systems, or reporting efficiencies considered an asset If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the "Apply" button to send your resume directly to Rob Mella.
