Résumé du poste

Tired of engine and tooling work being treated as an afterthought to gameplay? Join a 10-person programming team that counts on you to speak up on architecture and tooling decisions and listens when you do. Why Choose Reflector: Make your mark on an iconic IP The game we’re developing belongs to a cherished Bandai Namco IP with a fanbase in the millions! Your job is to build the technical foundations that bring its newest adventure. Sharpen your skills. Push your engineering talents to new heights while shaping the low-level systems and tools that power Unreal Engine 5 and build on your expertise to define Reflector’s engine standards. Enjoy more than just meetings. We’re all for hybrid setups, but endless Teams calls aren’t our thing. We like to kick off milestones, collaborate, fast-track ideas, share progress (snacks, too!), and celebrate achievements live and in-person. Feel supported on all fronts. Not only can you count on your team to help you solve the most complex technical challenges, but we’ve also got you covered with generous health and dental coverage and ample time off starting from day one. How You’ll Spend Your Days: Architect and build the engine’s core low-level systems, memory management, file systems, and multiplatform support while helping shape our architecture standards and technical direction. Serve as a key technical go-to: you’ll evaluate technical feasibility across teams, help set CPU and memory budgets, and weigh in on critical pipeline trade-offs. Partner closely with the tools team, artists, and designers to build the editor tools that power daily production and push the technical limits of the engine. What You Offer: Strong communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada. At least 12 years of experience in engine or systems programming for AA or AAA games, including solid experience with C/C++ and Unreal Engine.
