Full Stack Software Developer - Intern

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications for a fintech startup. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code. The applicant must have a strong desire to work for a startup and be willing to push the boundaries of what is possible in the AI accounting industry. The position is for a paid internship with possibility of extension. Responsibilities Develop quality software and web applications in Typescript/React & NodeJS/NestJS Design highly scalable, testable code using Claude Code and VS code Provide input and knowledge during project planning Analyze and maintain existing software applications Discover and fix programming bugs Recommend and design security tools Minimum Qualifications Previous experience working for a tech company or related tech projects Full-stack development experience with Typescript/React & NodeJS/NestJS Experience with Firestore/Firebase or with other NoSQL databases Basic knowledge of general accounting or finance Strong interest working for a startup Currently enrolled in a Canadian university Preferred Qualifications Working towards a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform Strong knowledge of corporate accounting and finance Good understanding of networking and cloud architecture Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts

The intern will develop high-quality software and web applications, focusing on scalable and testable code. They will also analyze and maintain existing applications and provide input during project planning.

Candidates should have previous experience in tech projects and full-stack development with specific technologies. A strong interest in startups and basic knowledge of accounting or finance is also required.
