Job Location 2 Robert Speck Pkwy, Suite 620 Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 1H8 Work Location: On-site (no remote option) Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time Start Date: As soon as possible Vacancies: 1 position Wage: $38.00 per hour Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week Job Overview RemitBee Incorporated is seeking a skilled User Support Technician to provide technical support, application support, troubleshooting, and system improvement support within a fintech and cross-border remittance environment. The successful candidate will support business applications, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze workflows, gather requirements, assist with system improvements, and collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to deliver effective business solutions. Languages English required Additional languages considered an asset Education Requirements College diploma or CEGEP in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Finance, or a related field. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant work experience may be considered. Experience Requirements 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in technical support, troubleshooting, business application support, system analysis, process improvement, requirements gathering, and system implementation. Experience working with fintech, financial services, payment processing, or cross-border remittance systems is an asset. Preferred Experience Previous experience working in fintech, payment processing, banking technology, or cross-border money transfer systems is highly preferred. Qualifications Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting business applications. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Experience with system testing, quality assurance, UAT, and SDLC processes. Knowledge of FINTRAC, PCMLTFA, STR, and EFTR reporting requirements is an asset. Experience supporting fintech, payment processing, or money transfer systems is an asset. Ability to document issues, analyze problems, and provide effective solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams. Job Responsibilities and Tasks Communicate electronically and in person with users experiencing technical difficulties to identify, troubleshoot, and document issues. Consult user guides, technical manuals, and system documentation to research and implement solutions. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to applications, systems, and user access. Provide technical guidance, support, and training to users based on identified issues. Provide support for business applications, systems, and internet-related technical issues. Analyze system and workflow issues and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Gather and document user requirements and support technology teams with system improvements. Support fintech, payment processing, and cross-border remittance platforms, with preference given to candidates with fintech experience. Assist with partner onboarding, system setup, and operational requirements. Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to support system enhancements. Maintain documentation related to system processes, technical issues, and compliance requirements. Support regulatory reporting processes, including FINTRAC-related requirements such as STR and EFTR. Identify system issues, risks, and improvement opportunities to support secure and efficient operations. Perform system testing, validation, quality assurance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Exigences
Requires a college diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field with 2 to 3 years of technical support experience. Experience in fintech, payment processing, and knowledge of FINTRAC reporting is highly preferred.
