About the Opportunity A practice group working at the intersection of natural resources and Indigenous law is seeking a lawyer to advise on impact benefit agreements and related resource-development negotiations. Key Responsibilities Advise Indigenous communities and/or project proponents on impact benefit agreements Support negotiations between resource companies and Indigenous communities Draft and review IBAs, MOUs, and related commercial agreements Advise on consultation and accommodation obligations Collaborate with environmental, regulatory, and corporate colleagues on resource projects Qualifications Called to the Bar in Ontario or British Columbia, in good standing Experience with impact benefit agreements, natural resources, or Indigenous law Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills Comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous community leadership Willingness to travel as required How to Apply Submit your resume in confidence for consideration.
