About the Company: Our client is a fast-growing, US-based large eCommerce brand known for delivering high-quality consumer products and a strong foundation built through Amazon. As a fully remote company, they value autonomy, fast iteration, and a culture of ownership. About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Financial Controller with deep experience in eCommerce – especially within the Amazon ecosystem. This individual will lead all financial aspects of the company and play a key role in shaping the long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in finance and accounting, coupled with the ability to build out scalable financial systems and lead high-impact analysis across the business. This is an executive-level role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, remote environment and wants to help scale a high-growth, high-potential brand. This is a Full-Time remote role. We are looking for a Financial Controller specifically with these requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (MBA or CPA preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles. Proven experience working in an 8-9 figure eCommerce company, with the business primarily operating through Amazon. Proven success managing both accounting and finance functions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence executive decision-making, and collaborate cross-functionally. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and scale operations efficiently. Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Nice to have: Experience with M&A, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, and post-acquisition integration. Knowledge of eCommerce analytics tools such as Sellerboard, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout. Your responsibility will include (but not limited to): Develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term growth, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning. Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and timely month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure tax compliance and manage external relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions. Monitor financial performance across Amazon FBA/FBM and other eCommerce marketplaces, tracking SKU-level profitability, ad spend ROI, and logistics costs. Reconcile financial data between Amazon Seller Central, payment processors, and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero). Partner cross-functionally with marketing and operations to analyze campaign performance, product launches, and cash flow cycles unique to eCommerce. Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team while implementing best practices in automation, data analytics, and scalable financial systems. Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement across the finance function. function. Growth Opportunities/Perks: Remote-first culture with flexible location. You’re comfortable partnering directly with a CEO and influencing strategic decisions. You enjoy building systems, improving reporting, and bringing structure to a fast-growing business. You can operate autonomously in a remote, entrepreneurial environment.
