The Field Services/Emergency Response Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day execution of field service projects at customer facilities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for project execution and is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, compliantly, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual requirements. The incumbent oversees industrial cleaning and environmental services projects, including project planning, staffing, execution, and customer communication. The Supervisor Project Management is accountable for health and safety performance on all assigned projects, ensuring work is completed in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. This is a field-based leadership position supporting industrial facilities including refineries, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and other industrial environments. Principal Responsibilities Lead and supervise field personnel performing industrial cleaning and environmental services activities. Coordinate project setup, execution, and demobilization at customer sites. Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all company, customer, and regulatory health and safety requirements. Review project scopes and develop safe work plans and procedures. Ensure all personnel possess the required training, certifications, and qualifications for assigned work. Manage project schedules, staffing requirements, equipment resources, and daily field operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution and escalate issues as required. Oversee cleaning activities involving tanks, vessels, pipelines, industrial equipment, floors, and related infrastructure. Track project progress, labor utilization, billable hours, and project performance. Assist with proposal preparation, scope reviews, and contract execution as required. Create project documentation, reports, and invoices, ensuring alignment with approved customer scopes and change orders. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements. Collaborate with operations, sales, safety, and technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Coach, mentor, and develop employees to support performance and career growth. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with high-pressure water blasting (hydroblasting). Experience leading or supervising field personnel in industrial cleaning, environmental services, industrial maintenance, or related industries. Experience operating or overseeing equipment such as vac trucks, tankers, hydrovacs, combo units, and high-pressure water blasting systems. Experience managing projects from initiation through completion in a field-based environment. Strong understanding of industrial safety practices, PPE requirements, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work in hazardous and safety-sensitive environments. Ability to wear required respiratory protection and other PPE. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory, foreman, or project management experience. Emergency response or HAZMAT experience. Experience working in refinery, petrochemical, manufacturing, power generation, or heavy industrial environments. Confined space entry experience. Knowledge of environmental regulations and waste industry requirements. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of industrial cleaning, environmental services, and field operations. Ability to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety, quality, and customer service standards. Understanding of budgets, project costs, and operational performance metrics. Ability to make sound decisions in fast-paced field environments. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Work Environment Primarily field-based work supporting industrial customer sites throughout Southern Ontario. Work may include refineries, chemical plants, manufacturing facilities, steel mills, and other industrial environments. Schedule is generally Monday through Friday; however, evening, night, weekend, holiday, and extended-hour work is frequently required. Significant overtime opportunities are available based on project needs. Travel, including overnight travel, is required. Work may involve confined spaces, respiratory protection, and other safety-sensitive environments.
