Resident Care Pharmacy in Burlington is looking for a positive-thinking, accurate and dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team! We are not open evenings, weekends or statutory holidays!! _*The ideal candidate must possess a positive team spirit.*_ *Responsibilities Include:* · Work with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely · Release prescription products after accuracy has been ensured and entire prescription has been evaluated and reviewed by a pharmacist for therapeutic appropriateness · Ensure proper documentation of health information · Maintains accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information · Follows all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practise of pharmacy at all time · Participates in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information · Prepare and compound medications when required · Maintain a clean and safe work environment *Qualifications/Experience:* · *Registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (RPhT)* · Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team · Effective organization and time management skills · Knowledge of Kroll Windows and experience with eMAR an asset Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Application question(s): * Please provide your licence number with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
