Our client is seeking a Senior Application & Systems Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support business-critical applications within a Microsoft technology environment. This is a hands-on development role working across Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, web applications, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. The successful candidate will combine strong application development skills with the ability to understand business requirements and deliver practical, secure solutions. Location: Hybrid 2-3d/week Toronto Responsibilities Design and develop solutions using Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Power Apps, third-party applications, and Microsoft cloud technologies. Develop AI-enabled solutions using Copilot Studio, Copilot Agents, Azure AI services, and AI-assisted development tools. Build and maintain applications, integrations, automation, and business processes. Develop solutions using technologies including C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Azure Functions. Design and support serverless integrations and automation using Azure Functions, REST APIs, Python, PowerShell, and Microsoft cloud services. Integrate enterprise applications and data sources to streamline business processes and improve employee productivity. Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement. Apply appropriate security, risk-management, solution-management, and change-control practices. Investigate and resolve complex application issues and coordinate escalations with external providers when required. Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies, automation, and AI capabilities. Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technical solutions. Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Requirements 5–8 years of experience in application and database development, maintenance, integration, and reporting. Significant hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Strong experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform. Experience developing applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript and/or Python. Experience with Azure Functions, REST APIs, serverless architecture, and cloud integrations. Experience with PowerShell and automation. Experience with Copilot Studio, AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, and/or Azure AI services. Experience developing or supporting modern web applications. Strong understanding of secure software-development practices. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple technical initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand business needs and recommend secure, practical technical solutions. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and integrate emerging technologies.
