Lift Operator - Winter (Seasonal)

Our guests are safe and happy on the mountain as you prioritize safety and teamwork while maximizing the guest and employee experience. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, be physically fit and enjoy working in an outdoor mountain environment. You Will Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff Ensure public and personal safety on lifts Offer the highest degree of guest service Assist in the scanning of lift tickets as needed Have a high degree of lift knowledge and be able to operate a designated lift with confidence Carry out MODULA (Maintain, Operate, Design, Unload, Load, Areas) Be over the age of 18 Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have An outgoing, confident & friendly personality Good communication & interpersonal skills Good punctuality & be reliable Good physical capability for heavy labour with a passion to work outdoors in the winter The ability to ski / snowboard (an asset) Compensation And Benefits Competitive wage: $19.00/hour Mountain access perks: Staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets and discounted friends & family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food & beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation.
