We are looking for experienced Line Cooks/Chefs to join our Food & Beverage team at Fernie Alpine Resort. As a Line Cook/Chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while keeping consistency and quality at the forefront. The ideal candidate is reliable, efficient, and thrives on teamwork while delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests. You Will Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to resort recipes and presentation standards. Manage your station during service, maintaining speed, accuracy, and quality. Assist in training and guiding Prep Cooks when required. Maintain portion control, proper cooking techniques, and food quality. Monitor and communicate low stock or prep needs to supervisors. Promote and maintain a safe, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook and Safety Management Program. Perform other kitchen duties as needed to support the team. You Have 1–2 years of line cooking experience in a busy restaurant or resort environment (required). Cook training certification or equivalent, an asset. Food Safe certification (asset, can be obtained upon hire). Strong knife skills, multitasking ability, and a sense of urgency. A team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
