Snowmaker - Winter (Seasonal)

You execute the resort's goals of producing and maintaining high-quality snow surfaces as you know there is no ski season without snowmakers. You are the key to winter season success. The ideal candidate will have both snowmobile and record-keeping experience, be self-confident, physically capable, and desire to work outside in a mountain environment. You Will Maintain & monitor entire snowmaking system (pumps, hoses & snow guns) Shovel and clear ice Roll and pack hoses Perform general labor tasks as needed Keep records of general snowmaking details Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable You Have Physical capability Ability and desire to work outdoors (day or night) in winter Self-confidence, reliability, and are a quick learner Abiliity to drive a snowmobile (an asset) The capability to work various, round the clock shifts Prior experience in related field (an asset) Compensation And Benefits Competitive wage: $19.00/hour Mountain access perks: Staff receive an RCR pass with full mountain access, plus reciprocal resort tickets and discounted friends & family tickets Staff discounts: Enjoy savings on food & beverage, rentals, retail items and hotel accommodation. Maintain and monitor the entire snowmaking system, including pumps, hoses, and snow guns. Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling ice, rolling hoses, and keeping detailed snowmaking records.

Candidates must be physically capable of working outdoors in winter conditions and available for various round-the-clock shifts. Experience with snowmobiles and record-keeping is preferred, along with a reliable and quick-learning attitude.
