You Will Ensure the safety of students and guests and provide an exceptional mountain experience through professional instruction in skiing or snowboarding. Contribute to a professional, supportive environment for other Instructors and KHMR staff. Maintain records of teaching with the Winter Sports School Team Lead, Lead instructor and Visitor Services Agents. Engage in daily team meetings, training and other communications necessary to provide a high-quality instructional experience for guests of the resort. Perform other duties as assigned. CSIA/PSIC/CASI Level II Ski & Snowboard Instructors Provide group and private lessons for all ages in beginner to advanced terrain. Work in our multi-week Adult and Kids programs where appropriate. CSIA/PSIC/CASI Level III Ski And Snowboard Instructors Provide group and private lessons for all ages in beginner to expert terrain. Work in our multi-week Adult and Kids programs where appropriate. Provide private lessons for Adults and Kids programs in expert terrain. Deliver clinics for the Big Mountain Centre. Conduct training sessions as needed. CSIA/PSIC/CASI Level IV Ski And Snowboard Instructors Mentor and lead our enthusiastic staff with the aim of developing excellence within the school. Expand instructor training program for the advancement of our growing staff. Deliver multi day, multi-discipline clinics, including freeride, race/performance, and freestyle programs. Provide private and group lessons for Children, Youth, Adult Clinics and the Big Mountain Centre. You Have A strong commitment to health and safety, prioritizing the well-being of guests, clients, and co-workers. A CSIA, PSIC or CASI Level Instructor certification (foreign equivalents considered). Professional experience as a snow or recreation instructor, aligned with your certification level. An outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. A passion for teaching and creating a safe, engaging learning environment. Enthusiasm for mountain culture, skiing/snowboarding, and resort life. Experience working effectively in a team environment. Flexibility with hours and lesson types. The ability to withstand extended exposure to extreme mountain weather. The physical conditioning and stamina to conduct on-mountain lessons for long periods. First aid, guiding, or avalanche certifications. The ability to provide a criminal background check. One (preferably two) professional references. Only those candidates with Level 2, 3 or 4 credentials will be considered. We Offer Competitive Wage: $22.00 - $33.25 per hour. Exigences

Candidates must hold a CSIA, PSIC, or CASI Level 2, 3, or 4 certification and have professional experience as a recreation instructor. Physical stamina for extreme mountain weather and a valid criminal background check are also required.
