Wintergreen - Pro Shop Staff

Every day is new and exciting; learning new things, meeting new people and experiencing the amazing atmosphere that working in the Foothills provides. You work in the communications hub of the golf course ensuring that the tee sheet operation runs as smoothly as possible and that our customer service is the best it can possibly be. Serving our members, public golfers and tournaments, you book tee times, check golfers in and get them all setup and ready for their amazing round of golf from start to finish. You have the ability to make people smile and take pride in providing our guests with the best vacation and recreation experience possible. You Will Assist in all areas of Pro Shop service operations Provide excellent customer service and sales Answer telephone inquiries, book tee times and check in customers Help with general shop upkeep and cleanliness Regularly rotate retail displays Participate in product knowledge sessions Assist with outside customer services as required Assist with practice area operations as required Assist with member and corporate tournament set-up Assist with starter/marshal duties if required You Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and always strive to improve them. Are able to provide our guests with Professional, Personal and Passionate Service. Have previous customer service experience. You should be comfortable using computers and POS systems. Have strong cash handling skills and product knowledge. Possess a valid Canadian Work Permit. Position Details Full time and part time positions available. Hours are variable and dependent on tee times as well as weather. Weekend hours are a must as this is when our golf course is the busiest! Seasonal position from August until mid October (remainder of the golf season). Manage the pro shop communications hub by booking tee times, checking in golfers, and providing high-quality customer service. Assist with retail display rotation, shop cleanliness, and the setup of member and corporate tournaments.

Candidates must have previous customer service experience and be comfortable using computers and POS systems. A valid Canadian Work Permit is required for this seasonal position.
