RCO Support Technician

Remote Communications Outlet (RCO) Support Technician RFNOW Inc. is seeking applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our Technical Services Team. As an RCO Support Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the network, server, storage, and application needs in RFNOW’s many RCO facilities throughout Western Manitoba and Eastern Saskatchewan. Under the support and guidance of the Facilities Manager, Network Architects, and other teams, you will be responsible for working in the RCO to deploy, configure, and support the ISP, VOIP, and other services. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- General Responsibilities: · Building, configuring, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and POP Sites. · Working mostly remote, requiring travel in Eastern Saskatchewan. Occasionally into Western Manitoba. · Equipment includes Racks, UPS’s, networking devices (Cisco, Nokia, Microtik, Eero, and others), servers, and storage and more. · Site inspections, maintaining site equipment: HVAC units, Generators and other things that are assigned to maintain site efficiencies. · Applications include Zabbix, QuickBase, Windows, Linux, and a variety of applications to support services to staff and customers. · On-call rotation. · Other duties as assigned. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qualifications & Experience: · Cisco networking training and certification. · Windows & Linux Server experience and training. · A valid Driver’s license · Eligibility to work in Canada · Living in the Western Manitoba / Eastern Saskatchewan region · A desire to learn and be part of a growing team. · Nice to have: ISP experience and fiber networks experience -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apply online by visiting our careers page, www.rfnow.com/careers [http://www.rfnow.com/careers] RFNOW Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting network, server, and storage infrastructure across various RCO facilities. Duties include maintaining POP sites, managing HVAC and generators, and supporting ISP and VOIP services.

Requires Cisco networking certification and experience with Windows and Linux servers. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, eligibility to work in Canada, and reside in the Western Manitoba or Eastern Saskatchewan region.
