Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Lead to join our team at our Martensville, SK location. This position is responsible for providing leadership to the maintenance team and maintenance services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads the maintenance team and completes regular preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment according to established schedules and procedures. Troubleshoots, fabricates, repairs and installs mechanical equipment/parts in accordance with established procedures. Provide assistance to other Maintenance and mill team members. Responds to after-hours emergency calls on a rotational basis. Actively engages the team in activities to meet safety and food safety goals. Operates in accordance with health, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices. Performs other related duties as required. QUALIFICATIONS: Journeyperson Millwright/Industrial Mechanic with experience in milling, processing, or manufacturing environments. Experience with parts inventory management, preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, shutdown planning, and technical parts identification. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead maintenance teams, mentor apprentices, train employees, coordinate work activities, and support department performance. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, with the ability to respond to emergencies, support investigations, and work effectively across departments. Committed to safety, food safety, continuous improvement, and company values, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business systems.
