*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with hands-on experience in roofing systems. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety standards while working on various roofing projects. The Roofer will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs to ensure they are durable and weatherproof. *Responsibilities* * Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas * Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks and barricades as required at construction sites * Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools * Install sheet metal flashings * Install, repair or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions * Install, repair or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings * Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed * Complete daily safety paperwork and make safety a priority * Operate aerial work platforms as certified *Requirements* * Communicates effectively with leadership * Works efficiently while unsupervised * Ability to learn new skills quickly * Ability to lift minimum 50lbs * Competent in ability to use power tools * Carries themselves with a positive attitude * Ability to work at heights Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off Work Location: In person
