Labourer/Sandblaster

We have a Full Time position available for an experienced Labourer/Sandblaster to join our Saskatoon operation. Key Responsibilities: * Perform tasks such as Grinding and Deburring in a safe manner with minimal rework * Lift and move product safely as required * Perform various tasks and assignments as instructed by the supervisor using various tools * Identify safety hazards and bring it to the attention of the supervisor * Operate all equipment, including small hand tools, in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures * General clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environment Education & Experience: * Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent * Experience using various hand tools * Experience in a manufacturing environment * Experience in machine operation an asset Skills and Abilities: * Great attention to detail with the ability to focus on the task at hand * Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with fluency in English * Team oriented thinker with the ability to work alone or in a team * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Ability to read a measuring tape * Ability to work with moderate supervision * Proven ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures * Ability to stand for long periods of time * Ability to lift 50 pounds We would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants in advance; however, only those short-listed will be contacted. Perform manufacturing tasks such as grinding, deburring, and sandblasting while ensuring all equipment is operated safely. Maintain a clean work environment and follow all supervisor instructions and safety protocols.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and demonstrate proficiency with hand tools.
