Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role: AI Full Stack Engineer (AWS Bedrock, React) Location: Remote (Canada) Duration: Long term Project About the Role We're looking for an AI Engineer who can build and ship intelligent, production-grade applications end-to-end. You'll work primarily on AI-powered products using the AWS Bedrock AgentCore stack on the backend, with React driving rich, responsive frontends. While full-stack capability is valued, your frontend instincts and execution need to be sharp - you'll own the user-facing layer. What You'll Do Design and build AI agents and workflows using AWS Bedrock AgentCore (agents, knowledge bases, guardrails, flows) Develop clean, performant React frontends that surface AI capabilities to end users Integrate Bedrock APIs and agent responses into seamless UI/UX experiences Collaborate on system architecture across backend services, AI pipelines, and frontend delivery Write backend APIs (Node.js / Python / TypeScript) to support agent orchestration and data flow Contribute to prompt engineering, RAG pipeline design, and agent evaluation Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning Must-Have Skills Strong proficiency in React (hooks, context, state management — Redux/Zustand/Jotai) Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and the AgentCore stack (agents, action groups, knowledge bases) Comfort working with REST APIs and streaming responses (SSE / WebSockets) from LLM backends Experience with TypeScript Understanding of prompt engineering and RAG architectures Familiarity with AWS ecosystem (Lambda, S3, IAM, API Gateway) Good to Have Full-stack experience with Node.js or Python backend services Prior work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks Experience with other AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Comprehend) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) Contributions to open-source AI/LLM tooling

The AI Engineer will design and build AI agents and workflows using AWS Bedrock AgentCore and develop React frontends to deliver AI capabilities to users. They will also integrate APIs, collaborate on system architecture, and contribute to prompt engineering and agent evaluation.

Candidates must have strong proficiency in React and hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock and the AgentCore stack. Familiarity with REST APIs, TypeScript, and the AWS ecosystem is also required, along with a good understanding of prompt engineering and RAG architectures.
