Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator

A structured Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator role is critical to the success of the River Cree Resort & Casino. The primary purpose of the Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator is to ensure the safety and well being of guests and associates of the River Cree Resort. Reporting to the Surveillance Manager, the Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator monitors for activity that could be of harm to guests or the property. Continuously monitor cameras of the non-gaming areas of the resort. Serve as central radio/phone dispatch for Resort Security. Respond to Casino floor employee complaints about belligerent or difficult patrons Dispatch Emergency Services as required Create incident reports as per company directive Maintains accurate logs in Property Central Reporting System Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and AGLC personnel. Provide evidence in legal matters that have resulted from criminal charges against patrons or employees. To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace. All other duties as assigned Communication Skills Must be adept in reading, writing and comprehension of the English language. Manual Dexterity The Non-Gaming Surveillance Operator must have the dexterity to maneuver electronic surveillance equipment smoothly using a mouse or joystick. Must have the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively on the radio. Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite Able to obtain an AGLC License The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays. The operator monitors non-gaming areas of the resort via cameras to ensure the safety of guests and associates. They also serve as the central radio/phone dispatch for security and create detailed incident reports.

Candidates must be proficient in English, possess the manual dexterity to operate surveillance equipment, and be able to obtain an AGLC license. The role requires flexibility to work shifts, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
