Level 2 Certified Dental Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Certified Chairside Dental Assistant who demonstrates a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a genuine passion for patient care. The ideal candidate enjoys leadership and hopes to transition into a management role in the future. Compensation: $27-37 hr. based on experience and references. Health spending account and 3 paid sick days after probationary period. Daily Scrubs provided. No weekends. ESA standards for holidays. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM. Tuesday and Friday: Optional. Compensation: $27-37/HR. Higher wages are reserved for those who have worked multiple years in a specialty endodontic practice or have extensive experience working in as a dual clinical/admin assistant in a busy practice. Qualifications: Level I and Level II assisting diploma. Level 2 Provincial Certification. Current HARP, CPR, and WHMIS certification (or provided upon hire). Experienced using a Lexa or M11 sterilizer. Comfortable taking diagnostic x-rays for endo. Minimum 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience. Endodontic or specialty experience preferred. Professional reference from a supervising dentist is required. Comfortable using dental software for charting, documentation, and note transcription. Positive helpful attitude and commitment to exceptional patient care. Responsibilities: Prepare instruments and materials. Sterilize equipment and maintain IPAC standards. Take diagnostic endodontic radiographs including shift shots and position patient for CBCT. Transcribe doctor notes and sent out post op letters and scans. Manage inventory and ordering. Keep clinical areas organized and clean. Complete comfort calls and assist admins when there are no patients. The Level 2 Certified Dental Assistant will prepare instruments and materials, sterilize equipment, and maintain IPAC standards. They will also take diagnostic radiographs, manage inventory, and assist with administrative tasks when needed.

Candidates must have a Level I and Level II assisting diploma, Level 2 Provincial Certification, and at least 3 years of chairside dental assisting experience. Additional certifications such as HARP, CPR, and WHMIS are required, along with experience in endodontics preferred.
