Résumé du poste
Type: Full-time Location: Saskatoon, SK — in-office, plus onsite client visits Compensation: From $75,000/year + benefits Reports to: Operations / CTO About Rivercity Tech Rivercity Tech is an established Saskatchewan based managed IT company. We're the crew that small and medium businesses across the province call when they'd rather not think about their tech at all. We handle the whole stack: IT support, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and we're in it for the long haul with our clients, not the quick fix. Good people, good work, and a team that actually likes showing up. The role You're the top of our service desk and the person the team brings the problems they can't crack. You're a self-starter who takes an issue from the first ticket to the finish line without being chased. You'll own the toughest escalations, run client projects end to end, and partner with our CTO on the complex, high-impact work. You're the senior the whole desk leans on. What you'll do • Own the toughest escalations across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, virtualization, and security • Be the final escalation tier on the service desk — our Support Analysts and Systems Analysts bring you their hardest issues • Execute and own client projects to completion (migrations, deployments, security hardening, M365 work) • Self-start: see what needs doing and carry it across the line • Document standards and fixes so the whole team gets better • Mentor and support our Support Analysts and Systems Analysts • Partner with the CTO on project delivery and technical direction What you bring • 4+ years in senior IT support or systems administration, ideally at an MSP • Strong, hands-on skills across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPN), and virtualization (Hyper-V/VMware) • A true self-starter mindset — you own issues end to end and don't let them drop • Comfort running and owning projects to completion • Clear, friendly communication with clients and teammates • A valid driver's licence and a reliable personal vehicle Nice to have • Microsoft certifications (Azure/M365), CompTIA Security+, or equivalent • Security tooling experience (EDR/MDR, SIEM), backup/DR • PowerShell scripting and PSA/RMM platform experience Why join us • A senior, high-trust seat where your work genuinely matters • Work alongside a strong CTO and a tight-knit local team • A stable, growing Saskatoon MSP with a great client base • Amazing benefits, and a genuinely senior seat with real ownership and room to grow
