Our client is seeking a talented Civil Litigation Lawyer to join a highly respected litigation practice known for handling complex, high-stakes matters and delivering exceptional advocacy on behalf of its clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer who thrives in a sophisticated litigation environment and is looking to work alongside experienced advocates on challenging and meaningful files. The successful candidate will gain exposure to complex disputes, contribute to strategic case development, and play an integral role in advancing client interests through all stages of litigation. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse portfolio of complex civil litigation matters from initial assessment through resolution • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, factums, opinions, and other litigation documents • Develop case strategies and provide strategic legal advice to clients • Participate in discoveries, mediations, negotiations, hearings, and trial preparation • Assist with complex motions and court proceedings before various levels of court • Work collaboratively with senior lawyers and litigation teams on sophisticated files • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders • Maintain strong attention to detail while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario • Experience practicing civil litigation in a reputable law firm environment • Strong advocacy, legal research, drafting, and analytical skills • Experience managing litigation files with increasing levels of responsibility • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and ability to develop practical legal strategies • A demonstrated interest in complex litigation and dispute resolution This confidential opportunity offers the chance to join an elite litigation team with a strong reputation for excellence, working on sophisticated matters alongside some of the most respected litigators in the profession.
