What You'll Be Doing As our Controller, you'll lead the finance function while partnering closely with operations, production, and executive leadership. Your days will include: • Leading the full-cycle accounting function including month-end, financial reporting, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger • Delivering timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that help leadership make informed decisions • Becoming the financial expert behind our manufacturing operations by overseeing cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis • Working alongside plant leadership to understand production performance, margins, inventory levels, and opportunities for continuous improvement • Strengthening internal controls, financial processes, and reporting accuracy • Coordinating annual audits while building strong relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners • Leading ERP enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvement projects that make everyone's jobs easier • Coaching and mentoring the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture • Providing meaningful financial insights that help shape strategic business decisions What You Bring You're someone who enjoys balancing technical accounting with business partnership and operational thinking. You'll likely have: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline • CPA designation (or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred) • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility • Manufacturing experience with strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing • Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts • ERP experience within a manufacturing environment • Advanced Excel skills and a natural curiosity for analyzing data • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across finance, operations, and executive leadership Bonus Points If You Have • Multi-site manufacturing experience • Experience leading ERP implementations or system upgrades • Continuous improvement or process optimization experience • KPI development and operational reporting expertise • Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance Why You'll Love Working Here We believe finance should have a seat at the table. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA designation, and over 7 years of progressive accounting experience. Strong expertise in manufacturing cost accounting and ERP systems is required.
