Our client is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join a highly regarded employment law practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to work with a sophisticated team on a broad range of employment matters while continuing to build their practice in a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful candidate will advise clients on a variety of workplace and employment-related matters, providing strategic legal guidance and practical solutions across both contentious and advisory matters. Key Responsibilities: • Advise employers and/or employees on a broad range of employment law matters, including workplace policies, employment agreements, terminations, human rights, workplace investigations, and employment standards issues • Manage employment litigation matters, including wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, and related workplace disputes • Draft and review employment agreements, policies, releases, and other employment-related documentation • Provide strategic advice to clients on workplace risk management and compliance matters • Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, pleadings, motions, and other legal materials as required • Attend examinations, mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related proceedings where applicable • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and practical legal advice • Work collaboratively with lawyers and legal professionals across the practice group Qualifications: • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario • Experience practicing employment law within a law firm environment • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and common law principles • Experience managing employment files independently from start to finish • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice • Strong analytical, advocacy, and negotiation skills This confidential opportunity offers the chance to join a respected employment law team with a strong reputation in the market and exposure to complex, interesting legal matters. Exigences
