Family Lawyer

We are supporting a highly reputable family law firm based in Vancouver who are currently searching for an experienced family lawyer to join the team. About The Role: We are looking for an experienced lawyer to take ownership and manage a diverse file load of family matters. These include complex property division, financial restructuring and custody disputes. Key Responsibilities: Represent clients in family law proceedings, including trials and hearings. Review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents. Identify and analyze a variety of legal issues and have the ability to distill large volumes of information into focused and simplified language to effectively advocate on behalf of your client. Conduct legal research and analysis and provide legal advice and direction based on your findings. Strong dedication to providing exceptional client service. Ability to manage a full caseload from initiation to resolution. Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience practising Family Law in British Columbia. Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong litigation skills and drafting skills. A strong ability to prioritize competing demands and the ability to work under pressure. Empathy, integrity, and a client-focused approach. Compensation: The firm offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience + discretionary performance based bonus.
