Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Analyst / Developer

Our client in the West End is looking for an Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Analyst/Developer for a 6 months contract to start with a chance of extension. Hybrid role. Responsibilities: Supporting existing On-Prem Oracle (EBS) and On-Prem Custom Applications built on Oracle Technology (i.e. APEX) Gathering and negotiating requirements Planning configuration/development work and estimations Configuration/Development of Oracle Solutions Unit/Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Work contributing to the success of Operational Support Requirements of the position include: Oracle e-Business Suite Technical Analyst with focus on Oracle EBS (incl. Custom Systems) Oracle Technologies (APEX, Databases, PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, etc) RHEL Operating Systems and Shell Scripting Languages Demonstrated understanding of and experience utilizing organizational change management principles and approaches. Strong leadership and influencing skills. Facilitation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational, time management and planning skills. Flexible and able to adapt project planning to meet stakeholder and leadership needs. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal, decision making, and teamwork skills as well as a strong client focus. Experience with using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops for project tracking and traceability, is desirable. Experience working in the higher education and the financial industry sector is highly valued. An undergraduate (master’s degree preferred) in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering related field plus at least five (5) years’ related development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The role involves supporting on-prem Oracle EBS and custom APEX applications through requirement gathering, configuration, and development. It also includes performing unit and integration testing to ensure the success of operational support.

Candidates need at least five years of development experience with Oracle technologies and RHEL operating systems. A bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science is required, with a master's degree preferred.
