Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private clients, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Intermediate Backend Developer (Integration) Lending Platforms to join our client in support of an existing vacancy. Contract Period: 6 months Pay Rate: Starting from $68 per hour Location: Toronto, On Location Type: Hybrid Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours Job Responsibilities: Backend/integration developer supporting unified experience supporting electronic tracking (eTrack) of an application/lifecycle and electronic documents (eDocs) The resource will build and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services that surface advisor-facing data, application/transaction lifecycle status (eTrack) and client statements/tax documents (eDocs), by integrating backend source systems (Salesforce, Alfresco) with the advisor portal front end Work includes data mapping, metadata/tagging remediation, entitlement handling, and defect resolution, delivered within an Agile squad under senior technical direction Experience & Qualification Requirements: Financial services / banking domain experience required RESTful API / microservices backend development in Java / Spring Boot (Maven-based, deployed to Azure/AKS) Consuming and exposing APIs across enterprise source systems, including messaging/queue-based integration (JMS/ActiveMQ) SQL and data mapping/transformation between source systems and front-end API (UI) contracts API integration with third-party/enterprise systems, including retrieval of content and handling of associated metadata Agile delivery with Git-based CI/CD workflows (GitHub, PR-based workflow) Integration with document management systems (Alfresco or comparable ECM — OnBase, Documentum, OpenText) Salesforce data integration exposure How to Apply: If you are a motivated professional looking to contribute to a leading team, please submit your resume outlining your qualifications and experience relevant to this role.
