Senior Project Manager Location: London, Ontario Type: Full-Time, Permanent Industry: Heavy Civil Construction | Municipal Infrastructure | Water/Wastewater Position Summary Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Project Manager will oversee the full construction project lifecycle, from tender review through project close-out. The role is responsible for project planning, contract administration, scheduling, subcontractor management, financial oversight, stakeholder coordination, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction & Tendering Identify and evaluate tender opportunities with senior leadership. Support bid reviews and subcontractor selection with estimating teams. Manage tender closings including pricing, references, bid bonds, and documentation. Finalize and submit competitive tenders. Project Planning & Contract Administration Review contract documents and ensure bonding, insurance, and compliance requirements are met. Review LOIs, purchase orders, and subcontract agreements. Manage owner submissions and project documentation. Develop project work plans and construction schedules. Create and maintain baseline schedules and WBS structures. Project Execution Coordinate communication between project teams, consultants, owners, subcontractors, and vendors. Issue site instructions, change orders, and project directives. Monitor project progress, quantities, schedules, and site activities. Conduct regular site visits and work closely with Site Supervisors. Lead issue resolution and maintain project momentum. Financial Management Approve invoices, purchase orders, and work authorizations. Monitor project budgets, forecasts, projections, and profitability. Participate in monthly financial reviews with senior leadership. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead subcontractor and internal project meetings. Participate in owner, consultant, and design coordination meetings. Support project close-out including as-builts and O&M manuals. Mentor and support Project Coordinators and junior staff. Required Experience 10-15+ years of Project Management experience within: Heavy Civil Construction Municipal Infrastructure Water/Wastewater Projects Experience managing projects ranging from $5M-$25M+. Proven experience overseeing full project lifecycle from pre-construction through close-out. Strong subcontractor management and contract administration experience. Preferred Experience Complex infrastructure projects including: Bridges Culverts Roads Structural Civil Projects Design-Build project experience. Experience with municipal owners and public sector infrastructure projects. Education & Certifications Degree or diploma in: Construction Management Project Management Engineering Equivalent combination of education and experience PMP, P.Eng., Gold Seal, or related certifications considered an asset. Technical Skills Strong understanding of: Construction drawings and specifications Contracts and procurement processes Scheduling and work planning Cost control and forecasting OHSA and health & safety requirements Proficient with: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) Google Workspace Leadership Competencies Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced construction environment. Experience delegating, mentoring, and developing project teams. Compensation & Additional Information Base Salary: $110,000 - $135,000 Bonus: 8% - 15% profit-sharing based on project performance and individual contribution Mileage reimbursement provided. Hybrid work environment with flexibility for candidates located in London/Goderich. Initial assignment is a ~$10M provincial park infrastructure project in Goderich involving: Site servicing Water infrastructure Sewer infrastructure Wastewater treatment upgrades Electrical works Washroom building construction Excavation and grading Long-term growth opportunity supporting Greenspace's expansion throughout Southwestern Ontario. Exigences

Requires 10-15+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, specifically within water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure. A degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, or Engineering is required, with PMP or P.Eng certifications preferred.
