Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the successful candidate will play a key role in the firm's accounting operations by performing a variety of financial analyses, supporting multiple accounting processes, and contributing to engaging departmental projects. Responsibilities Record journal entries related to routine and non-routine transactions Prepare and process monthly payments to vendors and government agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines and payment terms Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments Perform bank reconciliations Participate in month-end closing activities by conducting various financial analyses Ensure compliance with internal controls and related procedures Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects within the department Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned Skills And Requirements College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree in Accounting Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role Strong command of French and proficiency in written English Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (an asset) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently Adaptable and eager to learn new concepts and processes Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively We are looking for a standout candidate who will bring their expertise in accounting to support ROBIC’s continued growth and evolution.
