In this role, you will diagnose, repair, install, and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment while delivering exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and refrigeration systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate. Utilize specialized tools such as electrical testing. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance data. What We’re Looking For Sheet metal Apprentice, Journeyman or B ticket considered an asset. Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with a solid understanding of HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems and mechanical knowledge. Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans accurately. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications and property maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with refrigeration systems. Mechanical skills including equipment repair. Strong field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently on-site. Proficiency with testing tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with HVAC/R safety standards.
