Benefits: Company parties Competitive salary Health insurance About The Role We are looking for a skilled Level 4 Sheet Metal Apprentice to join the Cardinal Mechanical team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and mechanics, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves performing hands-on tasks that require precision and attention to detail. The Sheet Metal Apprentice will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of metal components throughout our properties. Key Responsibilities Assemble sheet metal products based on specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and joining metal materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate construction. Collaborate with other trades such as electrical and plumbing to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the installation process. What We’re Looking For Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to sheet metal work. Strong understanding of construction principles and practices. Experience in carpentry, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, caulking, restoration, or construction painting is a strong asset but not required. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across various trades. What You’ll Need A valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle to get to job sites.
