Benefits: Company parties Competitive salary Employee discounts Health insurance Job Summary Rockport Commercial is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain our residential and commercial properties in Winnipeg. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our buildings are clean, welcoming, and well-presented for residents, tenants, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize common areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and public washrooms. Maintain the cleanliness of commercial office spaces, meeting rooms, and other high-traffic facility areas. Complete routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and emptying waste and recycling bins. Assist with deep cleaning projects, including carpet cleaning and other detailed cleaning tasks. Clean and maintain specialized amenity spaces, including fitness centres and dog wash stations. Thoroughly clean vacant residential suites to prepare them for move-ins, move-outs, and inspections. Work collaboratively with team members to support a safe, clean, and professional property environment. Monitor, organize, and restock cleaning supplies and equipment as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned to support daily operations. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience cleaning residential and/or commercial properties is considered an asset. Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple property sites. Reliable, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. Knowledge of safe handling practices for commercial cleaning products and equipment is an asset. Transportation Requirements A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is strongly preferred.

The cleaner will maintain the cleanliness and presentation of residential and commercial properties by sanitizing common areas and preparing vacant suites. They will also perform routine tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and restocking cleaning supplies to ensure a professional environment.

Candidates should have previous cleaning experience and the physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and bending for extended periods. A valid Class 5 driver's licence is strongly preferred to facilitate travel between property sites.
