POSITION OVERVIEW Develop structural designs for multi-family residential buildings and commercial spaces, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Perform structural analysis using software and manual calculations to ensure safety, stability, and durability. Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural designs into overall project plans. Participate in project meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and proposals Monitor construction progress and provide on-site support to ensure adherence to design specifications. Conduct field inspections and assessments to verify the integrity of structures during construction and after completion. Ensure that all structural work meets quality standards and is completed on schedule. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Manitoba or eligibility to obtain. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in the construction of multi-family and commercial projects. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines. A proactive approach to identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.

Exigences
