Rohde & Schwarz is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow our Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) system business within the Aerospace and Defence (A&D) Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Canadian Critical Infrastructure (CI) business segments. This individual will work within a team focused on increasing Rohde & Schwarz’s market share in Canada. Candidates will have an established network within the CAF and supporting government contracting community, and will have the ability to comfortably navigate the Canadian Government acquisition process. Prior military experience within communications, EW, Intel and Spectrum Monitoring communities is beneficial. Candidates will have a proven track record of achieving business/growth targets and strategic visions with a strong personal drive to contribute directly to R&S’s Defense, Security & Critical Infrastructure division's evolution. Your tasks Grow Rohde & Schwarz market share – develop and manage sales funnel/forecast as part of the sales process. Identify and qualify new business opportunities in Canadian EW and Spectrum Monitoring markets. Influence and capture existing opportunities based on knowledge of market mechanisms, R&S product benefits & relationships to the customer community. Develop campaign strategy, price to win and teaming arrangements to increase win rate on targeted opportunities. Contribute to and/or author marketing materials, customer RFI responses, proposals and quotes. Establish effective working relationships within the Defense, Security & Critical Infrastructure sales and programs teams within Rohde & Schwarz. Your Qualifications BS or MS in relevant technical area (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics) and/or 5+ years of hands-on mission execution in either Spectrum Management, EW or Intel arena. Experience managing Canadian government acquisition processes, regulations, program requirements. Existing network of relationships within Canadian government and related contractors. Technical and/or program management experience with spectrum monitoring and electronic warfare systems (terrestrial/space), including operational knowledge and ability to demonstrate benefits of R&S systems solutions. Strong business development and marketing skills with the ability to manage multiple sales projects. Ability to analyze customer requirements and position R&S solutions that meet those requirements, emphasizing the value of our solutions. Ability to add value to the team as both leader and contributor. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 5025%. Exceptional communications skills in person, over the phone and in writing. Must be a Canadian citizen capable of receiving a security clearance.
