Superpowers you have: Professional experience as a Technical Artist; Strong understanding of PCG systems and rendering techniques; Experience building or supporting PCG pipelines in game development; Solid shader knowledge (node-based and/or shader code); Strong understanding of lighting systems and how it specifically applies to vegetation; Familiarity with vegetation and procedural tools such as SpeedTree, Houdini, or similar; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within international, cross-disciplinary team. You’re a rockstar if you have: Experience having created environment art content; Experience with Unreal Engine; Experience with large-scale environments, open worlds, and realistic natural scenes; Scripting experience (Python, Blueprint, C++, or similar); Experience supporting realistic or high-fidelity art styles; Shipped titles or production experience on PC or console. As a part of Room 8 studio, you will: Design, implement, and support real-time PCG systems for games; Drive the population of natural elements and clutter alongside the building generation; Develop and optimize foliage shaders, materials, and wind animation systems; Profile and optimize biomes for performance, memory usage, and visual consistency; Collaborate with engineers on biome-related rendering and tooling; Help define and document best practices for biome production and integration; Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Join Us. Get even more: Competitive financial reward (yes, we are fair enough); Challenges to raise your XP score (professional training and conferences, internal mentorships, English courses); Private medical care, paid vacation, and sick leave; A culture of diversity and inclusion that unites the most outstanding talents; A community of people who understand and share your passion for games.
