Summary Rosewood Hotel Georgia is seeking an exceptional Private Events Sales Coordinator (Outlets) responsible for driving private event and group dining revenue across the Food & Beverage Outlets. This role will actively develop new business, convert inbound inquiries, build relationships with corporate and social clients and maximize food and beverage revenue through private dining, partial and full buyouts, celebrations and group experiences. The Private Events Sales Coordinator will own the commercial relationship from initial inquiry through proposal, contracting and confirmation while partnering closely with Outlet Operations, Culinary, Marketing and other hotel teams to ensure a seamless transition and exceptional event experience. Duties and Responsibilities Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Proactively solicit and develop new private event and group dining business for the Food & Beverage Outlets through prospecting, referrals, local account development and relationship building. Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, executive assistants, luxury brands, event planners, local businesses and other key referral partners. Manage inbound and outbound sales opportunities from initial inquiry through qualification, proposal, site inspection, negotiation, contracting, deposit and confirmation. Achieve established revenue and conversion targets while maximizing food and beverage spend through menu enhancements, premium beverage offerings, minimum spends and partial or full buyouts. Identify and pursue opportunities to generate incremental event revenue during need periods and lower-demand days and dayparts. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate client history while tracking lead volume, conversion, booking pace, average event spend, lost business and revenue performance. Conduct sales calls, client appointments, site inspections, networking and client entertainment to generate new business and strengthen existing relationships. Prepare accurate proposals, contracts and event correspondence in accordance with established pricing and profitability guidelines. Capture all confirmed event requirements and ensure a clear and timely handoff to Outlet Operations, Culinary and other relevant teams. Maintain accurate event information within Microsoft Teams, OpenTable and other designated systems and communicate changes promptly to all relevant stakeholders. Partner with Outlet Operations, Culinary, Marketing, AV and other hotel teams to support the successful delivery of confirmed events and develop initiatives that drive private event business. Conduct post-event follow-up to strengthen client relationships, generate repeat and referral business and identify opportunities to improve future sales performance. Represent Rosewood Hotel Georgia and its Food & Beverage Outlets at appropriate sales, industry and networking events and participate in business reviews and sales meetings as required. General Skills Demonstrated sales orientation with a strong focus on revenue generation and conversion. Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills. Commercial understanding of restaurant, private dining and food and beverage operations. Ability to identify opportunities to maximize event spend and profitability. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with luxury clientele, corporate decision-makers and internal stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail, organization and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities and event timelines simultaneously. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize effectively and work with minimal supervision. Ability to remain composed and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cohesively across Food & Beverage, Culinary, Marketing, Sales and hotel operations. Qualifications and Knowledge Strong understanding of private dining, restaurant events and event sales principles. Demonstrated ability to develop new business and convert prospective clients into confirmed revenue. Experience managing inbound sales leads and maintaining an active sales pipeline. Ability to prepare proposals, negotiate business and close sales. Experience coordinating private events involving multiple internal stakeholders. Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and relationship management. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong proficiency with relevant computer systems and office applications. Experience with restaurant reservation, event management or CRM platforms preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate event information clearly. Language Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. Fluency in additional languages is an asset. Physical Requirements Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting up to 20 pounds, perform various physical movements throughout work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary for periods of time and communicate effectively with guests, clients and colleagues. Qualifications Diploma, some college or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum two years of experience in private events, restaurant sales, hospitality sales or a comparable luxury hospitality position. Previous experience within a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel, restaurant or hospitality brand is preferred. Previous experience with private dining or outlet event sales is strongly preferred. Current and valid food safety certification as required by applicable local regulations. Performance Measures Performance will be evaluated against established commercial and service objectives which may include: Private event and group dining revenue Revenue versus budget or established target Lead conversion Average event revenue New business production Repeat business Sales pipeline development Inquiry response time Booking pace and need-period production Accuracy and quality of event handoffs Compensation The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. This is the pay range for this position that the Hotel reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience, type of hotel experience, location and education. In addition to salary, the position will be eligible to participate in the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts Commission Structure. Participation in the Commission Structure is subject at all times to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan as amended from time to time. Current Commission Structure Partial Buyout 4% of net revenue – Weekday (Sunday–Wednesday) 2% of net revenue – Weekend (Thursday–Saturday) Full Buyout 3% of net revenue – Weekday (Sunday–Wednesday) 2% of net revenue – Weekend (Thursday–Saturday)
