Job Overview: Ross Video powers video production for billions of global viewers daily with the industry’s widest range of smart production solutions. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a Senior HR Business Partner, aligned with our Manufacturing organization. The Senior HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full-cycle HR support to Ross Video managers and staff, with a focus on specific business unit/s within the organization. You will drive HR functional excellence, support talent initiatives, and act as a trusted advisor to leadership. The role is critical in executing our talent initiatives, providing great internal client support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Who you report to: Vice President, HR Business Partnerships & Programs What The Job Is All About: Understand business goals and work to ensure the effective execution of HR programs, processes, policies, communications, and strategic initiatives to meet business objectives. Take a hands-on approach to partnering as trusted advisor to client group leaders and employees in coaching, mentoring and educating on their obligations to ensure all company standards and practices are upheld to enable a safe, healthy and compliant work environment. Support the resolution of complex employee relations issues in collaboration with legal and compliance teams as needed. Provide HR insights to help influence and drive HR programs and strategic priorities including workforce planning, organizational design, talent management, employee development, succession planning, and leadership development within client groups. Coach leaders to foster increased employee engagement, inclusion and organization performance. Act as a liaison to the employee led Social Committee, ensure alignment of planned activities with corporate culture and values. Who You Are: University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience in an HR team. Minimum 8 years of progressive HR Business Partner or HR Advisor experience, preferably in a Manufacturing environment. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding in the management of all aspects of HR functions. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization, including Senior Management. Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy; ability to build trusted relationships. Experience coaching and mentoring managers and employees. Some knowledge of employment law outside of Canada would be an asset. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Organized and very detail orientated but also able to see the big picture. Strong-working knowledge of MS-Office package and general computer software; familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce an asset. Ross Video enjoys a hybrid work environment. This position ideally requires on-site presence in our Iroquois office three to four days per week, with working from home possible for the remaining days. Occasional travel to Ottawa campus may be required. Salary Information: The pay range for this role in Canada is: 82,000 - 120,000 CAD The listed salary reflects the pay range for a role based in Canada. Compensation may differ based on alternate locations if listed. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, knowledge, and role-specific qualifications, and may be adjusted to recognize candidates accordingly.
