Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO). Current credentialed member of Sonography Canada. Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program. You will be a great fit for this position if you have: Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated compassion and respect for the patient, family and support persons in the provision of imaging services Responsibilities: Perform routine and emergency procedures in accordance with established methods as described in departmental Policies and Procedures manuals, while documenting high quality images. Including but not limited to abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts. Experience in musculoskeletal, neurosonography, vascular imaging, as well as assisting in interventional procedures an asset. Operate, troubleshoot and ensure ultrasound, medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner. Prepare written and electronic reports required to document all procedures and test results. Ability to work all shifts including standby. Demonstrated commitment to be an integral part of the diagnostic imaging team to ensure smooth workflow within the department as well between the department and other departments in the hospital.

Perform routine and emergency sonography procedures while documenting high-quality images. Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment and prepare reports for all procedures and test results.

Candidates must have completed an accredited ultrasound program and be registered with CMRITO. A commitment to professional growth and excellent communication skills are also essential.
