Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO). Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program. You will be a great fit for this position if you have: Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and exercise independent judgement. Demonstrated ability to function independently. Demonstrated ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care. Proven ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations. Demonstrated commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self-Directed Learning Opportunities. Demonstrated compassion and respect for the patient, family and support persons in the provision of imaging services Working knowledge of RHPA. Working knowledge of standards of practice for related field. Able to identify and recommend process improvement opportunities Able to work independently and co-operatively as part of a team. Recent satisfactory performance appraisal. Recent satisfactory attendance record. No recent disciplinary events. Responsibilities: Perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures. Maintain strong team environment amongst MRI technologist, MRI Technologist Assistants and Imaging Nursing Team. Perform a large variety of MRI specialty procedures including cardiac imaging and breast biopsies. Collaborate with the Pacemaker Clinic to perform MRI exams on patients with MRI conditional pacemakers. Coordinate with the Anesthesia team to provide MRI access to young children and patients with special needs. Perform MRI studies to assist radiation therapy planning. Please note that this position is a midnight line; however, shift schedules may be subject to change to support operational requirements and departmental needs.

Exigences

Candidates must have completed an accredited MRI program and be registered in good standing with the CMRITO. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and strong communication skills are also required.
