Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team and support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. The Payroll Clerk will assist in collecting, verifying, and entering payroll data, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities * Collect and verify employee timekeeping records, attendance, and related payroll information * Enter payroll data into the payroll system accurately andtimely * Process payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and deductions * Assistin preparing payroll reports and summaries for management and accounting * Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies * Maintain payroll records and documentation in an organized and confidential manner * Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve issues * Support audits and payroll-related compliance activities as needed Qualifications & Experience * 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or clerical accounting role preferred * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Basic knowledge of payroll systems and procedures * Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) is a plus * Good organizational and time management skills * Strong communicationskills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion * High school diplomarequired; associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or HR preferred Right Traffic is an Equal Employment Opportunities Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
