WHAT YOU'LL DO: Be a friendly and knowledgeable resource for every customer, answer customer questions, and make product recommendations Connect with every customer by asking open-ended questions to assess needs Operate the cash register and use the computer for business tasks and product research Keep the store clean, tidy, and attractive by following merchandising standards WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Confident and comfortable engaging with customers to deliver a positive experience Motivated to achieve great results because of one's enthusiasm for the running, walking, and fitness environment Love of learning and ability to grasp new concepts and product knowledge quickly Self-motivated to complete tasks or activities with little supervision Able to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written English Available weekends WHAT WE'RE OFFERING: $18.25 per hour Awesome employee discounts (like, really awesome) A positive and supportive work environment and team Happy customers! More importantly, we help people start running and keep running. We offer and advice and encouragement to every single person who walks through the door, whether they've just started exercising or they're seasoned ultramarathoners. We're about helping people find the right fit or perfect product, not about aggressive selling. We take pride in what we do, keep learning so we can provide expert advice, and never take ourselves too seriously. (Oh, and we have awesome employee discounts!) The associate will provide friendly customer service, offer product recommendations, and assist with store maintenance and merchandising. They are also responsible for operating the cash register and performing business tasks.

Candidates should be confident in engaging with customers and possess a strong interest in fitness and running. The role requires the ability to learn product knowledge quickly and maintain a clean, attractive store environment.
