We are looking for a Lead Hand Licensed Diesel Mechanics, for our Markham dealership located at 8240 Woodbine Ave, Markham, ON. This is a full-time permanent position for our afternoon shift.. As Lead Hand Technician, reporting to the Service Manager your main responsibilities will be providing both technical and administrative support, spot-checking repairs to assure quality and timely completion, and reviewing work orders for accuracy. We are looking to fill our afternoon shift. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment Read job order, observe and listen to vehicle in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures. Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines and components. Document work performed. Overhaul gas or diesel engines. Examine protective guards, loose bolts and specified safety devices on trucks and make adjustments as needed. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty. Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins. The Lead Hand Technician provides technical and administrative support while overseeing repair quality and work order accuracy. They are responsible for performing detailed truck and engine repairs while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Candidates must hold a 310T license or be a registered apprentice with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong communication skills and a quality-driven work attitude are essential for this role.
