Job ID: 26-25822 Job Title: Data Science/ Data Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (HYBRID) Duration: 7+ Months Client: Public Sector Pay Rate: $57-$62/hr [CAD] Job Description Seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to support health data analytics, reporting, and clinical data initiatives for the Mental Health & Addiction program. Key Responsibilities: Develop SQL/Python scripts, reports, data models, and analytics solutions. Work with large health and administrative datasets, including data linkage and cohort development. Build and maintain Azure-based data pipelines, analytics models, Power BI dashboards, and reports. Support Provincial Data Set (PDS) 2.0 and Mental Health & Addiction (MHA) reporting priorities. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions. Prepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions. Must-Have Skills: Strong experience with SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI. Experience working with health data and public-sector/government environments. Experience developing data pipelines and end-to-end analytics products. Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Nice to Have: Health data linkage experience. Mental Health & Addiction/clinical data knowledge. Understanding of PHIPA, data privacy, and governance. Experience working in product-team environments.
