Your skills and dedication help save lives while offering reassurance in high-pressure situations. 🏥 Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) 📍 British Columbia Position Highlights The Emergency Room RN is responsible for delivering safe, patient-focused care in a dynamic and fast-paced emergency department setting. This role calls for strong clinical expertise, the ability to function independently with minimal supervision, and confident decision-making—particularly when working alongside LPN support. The ideal candidate brings hands-on ER experience, excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, and the necessary certifications to manage emergency and high-acuity patient needs effectively. Responsibilities Deliver thorough emergency nursing care to patients with diverse and complex conditions.. Act promptly in emergency situations, ensuring effective patient stabilization. Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date patient records in accordance with organizational standards. Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Continuously monitor patient conditions, identify potential complications, and respond proactively. Promote patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times. Requirements Registered Nurse with an active license from the relevant provincial regulatory authority. Demonstrated experience working in an Emergency Room (ER) setting. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS. Comfortable practicing in an ER environment with LPN support. Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities. Capable of working independently and effectively in high-acuity and rural healthcare settings.
