Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Emergency Room (ER) Location: Prince Rupert, BC (On-site) Professional Summary Russell Tobin is actively recruiting Travel Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) – Emergency Room (ER) for a contract opportunity in Prince Rupert, British Columbia. We are seeking dedicated nursing professionals who thrive in fast-paced emergency care settings and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care within the Emergency Department. Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs. Administer medications and treatments within LPN scope of practice. Assist with triage, patient flow, and emergency interventions. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Support infection prevention, safety, and quality care standards. Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions. Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing Program. Current and active BCCNM LPN Registration or eligibility for registration. Recent Emergency Room and/or Acute Care experience preferred. Current BLS certification required. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to high-quality patient care and safety. Position Details: Location: Prince Rupert, BC Contract Length: 1 Month (With extension Potential) Start Date: September 1, 2026 End Date: October 31, 2026 Schedule and Shifts: Full-time hours as per facility requirements Compensation: CAD$40 -CAD $48 per hour Competitive hourly rate based on experience Benefits: Travel and accommodation support provided.
