Ensures that trips are run safety, efficiently and in compliance with company and DOT regulations. Essential Functions Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Skills And Abilities Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, required Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures Important, required Qualifications H.S. Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport freight between pick-up and destination terminals. Ensure all trips are conducted safely and in full compliance with company and DOT regulations.

Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement and at least 9 months of verifiable commercial driving experience. Candidates must have a clean driving record with no more than one moving violation or accident in the last 12 months.
