As a Material Handler at Ryerson, you will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment. This position will work Sunday through Friday from 10:00pm to 6:00am out of our Brampton warehouse facility. Roles And Responsibilities Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders Putting away stock from inbound shipments Preparing loads for production Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders Packaging of material to customer requirements Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift to move material as needed Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice Requirements Minimum 1 year of similar job experience required Experience working in the metal industry is preferred Minimum 1 year of forklift, counterbalance or overhead crane experience required Basic math skills Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility Ryerson Canada is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
